Comments about Kitchen Crystals Drain Opener, 2pk:
I used just a tad over what the directions say to use - not alot more - just a little - in my master bathroom sink. It went in to the drain, I ran the cold water -- and it got really hot in the pipe (it's supposed to) but then the crystals melted together - it solidified in a blue rock looking thing! I had to get a plumber out who had to CUT my pipe and then run the solidified chunk through with a hammer and screwdriver to get it out of my pipe. He then had to replace that section of my pipe right above the elbow with PVC. He told me not to use it anymore. Duh! I won't be!! PS - if you have slow running drains - esp. showers, google using a gallon of swimming pool bleach - I'm sticking with that!!!

Read first on how much too use. This will last longer then the liquid Drano, but it does have an odor not safe for kids, pets, and others. Keep your fan on and a window open to air out, even if there is a baddly clogged drain in your tub/shower and kitchen sink. Again READ the instructions FIRST...
