Comments about Wart Remover Gel-0.25 oz.:
I got a wart on my finger borrowing a friend's tennis racket, and let it grow a year before treatment to the size of an eraser head. At first I got it frozen at the dermatologist, but wasn't able to leave work for subsequent treatments. The next derm I went to prescribed Curad Mediplast strips, which was always sliding off my finger and generally hard to keep on when constantly washing hands, etc.
Then I bought Compound W gel on Soap.com. No joke, you can feel it searing deep into the wart. Nothing is getting that stuff off once it dries!! To improve the effectiveness:
-soak your wart for 5 minutes in warm water
-use a disposable emery board to file down the dead skin (after the first treatment, it's not clear what is skin and what is dried white Compound W, so this is less gross)
-apply new CW each morning and night, let the Compound W fully dry before putting a bandaid over it
It was only uncomfortable at night, when at times it would throb, so I would apply an ice pack which helped. Within 5 days the "root" started to show (not really a root, but the blood from where the virus is attached). I then put on a coat of CW outside of the wart, and the entire piece lifted out in chunks. I'm doing one last application to ensure it's all gone.
In total the commitment was about a week and a half. I would definitely use this product again.
