I don't know what's in this stuff, but it works! It works amazingly well if directly poured on stains and will whiten and brighten a light or white wash. I have used the product in a dark wash without any problems. I have not yet tried pouring it directly on dark clothing with a stain, so I don't know if it will lighten the fabric. I also like the fact that it's good for the planet. I have not had an allergic reaction to it, so that's good!

I saw this product as a "must have" in one of my magazines. Oh it certainly is! I'm always looking for ways to whiten my whites and hate the smell of bleach plus more often than not I have shirts that have color on them and they just get faded out, not w/ this product!

This product is absolutely wonderful! I have a 4 month baby & I have been using this since I brought her home! It gets all the stains out even the really bad ones, while still being safe & gentle enough for newborns! I have tried plenty of natural bleaches, but none of them cut it. This is a must buy if you have a baby!

I was hoping for a blach alternative that would whiten like bleach. This is not it- fairs the same as Clorox 2or Oxyclean. I have only used it once & will try it agan today when I wash whites again. So far I'm not impressed. I hope that over time it'll get our clthes & towels a bit whiter. Nothing special.

I don't usually use bleach very much due to the smell, fading and wear on garments, but Vaska oxygen bleach works without all those side effects. Very effective on a load of whites, even on items with color detail. I've never had my whites this white. Might not be the best for stubborn stains, even after a good soaking, but for everyday whitening, it rocks!

I used this product in the laundry on a white comforter. Came out white as snow! I've washed this comfortable several times before, but it hasn't been this white since I bought it! Better than bleach because it's also color safe. I can use it on white towels with colored edging. Love it!
