I was always having to buy the multi-pack but then I also would need to get a box of the super plus as they never sold the super plus in a multi-pack...and NOW they have it! GREAT!!!

The pretty much the only tampon I buy now. Too old and hands too sore to worry about over-packaging and plastic. Pearls are very easy to insert, I don't accidentaly pinch myself (yeowch) trying to get the thing positioned and the applicator back out. I've never had to cram it back in after it pulled halfway back out with the applicator.

I've never had one leak unless it was truly overfilled; they absorb evenly--unlike others where one side gets full and leaking onto panties while other half the tampon is still clean and dry.

Pearls seem to remove easily also, even on light days when they are relatively dry. Still a wad of dry cotten but not as irritating as other brands for whatever reason. Lubrication maybe? Maybe there is a Goddess for tampons?

But even the super Pearls can't keep up with my really heavy days when I'm not using birth control pills. I've found Kotex Super Extra Jumbo or whatever the most absorbent.I keep a supply on hand but normally I'm on Yaz for PMDD.

I use Instead for light days. They look like a diaphram and are made of soft plastic. More platic. Sigh. But better than having a layer of my tender inner parts yanked out with a dry wad of cotton.

For me, on regular days, Instead was a bloody mess to remove. Literal. Sorry. Women bleed. Fact. Deal with it.
