This product does not smell natural or even like lavender. Its scent is very chemical and floral, though I wouldn't call it lilac-- more like "old-lady-blue-hair." I was looking for a change from the Pantene I was using and thought this sounded like a bargain. However, I've found it harsh and my husband dislikes the scent as well. I will not purchase it again.
