I only wash my hair once every three or four days because it is so susceptible to breakage. Despite how thick and rich this treatment is, my hair still is soft and bouncy days after use! It provides lasting protection from heat styling and works well to de-tangle long, thick hair. This product is an absolute miracle for post-pregnancy, thick, wavy, dry and damaged hair. I have already recommended it to friends.

I have used other REDKEN products, like the Intensive Renewal Treatment in a jar, and Lush's Retread but prefer Butter Treat.

I have longish curly hair. It tangles so easily and I end up ripping it out when I get out the shower. Since I got this conditioner (which can be used as a wash out and leave in) it has become so much easer to comb my hair and the curls are so defined and pretty. I went three days without it and almost shaved my head. Great product!
