This product smells great and the nontoxic ingredients are a good idea. However that's where the good times end. I rarely have time to write reviews (working dad in a young family of 4) but this one certainly merits it.

1. The soap quickly coagulated so it gloops out and unless i'm careful to smush it into the sponge, it slides off and it's frustrating to frequently "squirt" the soap and have it plop into the sink, not my sponge. Attempting to stir or shake the bottle to "mix" the ingredients was futile.

2. I need to use significantly more soap to get the same amount of suds than any other dish soap i've used. I probably use something like 1/2 tsp of this soap to get the same suds as I do from a few drops of 7th generation soap. I actually cut a sponge in 1/2 and compared the 2 because i couldn't understand why this cleaner was so useless. Have I tried cleaning with a little of this soap? Yes, but i got tired of seeing wine and water glasses still look smudgy and my Cutco knife handles feel greasy after cleaning.

This product needs much improvement in the surfectants and long-term stability of the liquid in order to compete in an already competitive market of organic and/or natural dish soap products. Don't settle for this one.

I use this dishsoap because it does not contain any chemicals I didn't want on my hands, on my dishes, in my house! It does require more product to get the desired suds for dished than I had hoped, but am still pleased with the result! The dishes are clean and there is no residue. I like knowing the environment is better off when I use this product also! I love the almond scent!

Works well in my kitchen. This is a great dishwash liquid, similar in cleaning ability to any of the mainstream non-eco brands. It works really well, and I especially like how it is thick not runny, so it's great if you're using a dish-wand to clean the dishes. The grapefruit scent is very faint, you'll barely notice it.
