I have a 19month old who has been having some issues lately with constipation. I tried the q-tip method with no success, but this worked great. I found that it promised results quicker than other brands without any cramping so I tried it. It worked immediately and my daughter was able to have a bowel movement within 20 minutes. It is still painful and difficult for them, but it speeds up the process so they are not struggling for hours or days as it may be. It also helps to soften it up so it is not quite as painful for them. You don't want to use it too often, but it is a alternative to other methods that are not as easy to administer and more painful for them.

First, I must say, I contacted my 14 month old's doctor before using this! My 14 month old was in great pain and very constipated. I spoke with my doctor and she suggested a suppository. He had been constipated for many, many days. He had been straining to go and nothing was happening. This was easy to use. Not the most fun you have as a mom but you got to do what you got to do. I swear it started working within 60 seconds. With some more straining he was finally able to pass what was clogging him up. He continued to "release" what he needed to get out of his system and felt about a million times better. I am a huge fan of this product. It was just what my little one needed to get him back to normal. Advise a doctor before use!!!!
