My 4 year old holds her poop for days and days. After a week and a half of no poop, we decided to use this product. It was very difficult to administer it to her as she did not want to get into the "calm" position they tell you to get into...but I got her in a secure position and administered it. She was sad...but once I was done, she got on the potty and pooped in the next 10 minutes.
They ask you to keep the child in this fetal like position for several minutes until the urge to go comes- but my daughter was not having that. It still worked.
