This is the best shampoo I have ever used! I actually like my hair now. The lack of residue keeps volume in my hair. The shampoo does not lather well but that is the idea, you don't need lather to clean well. Highly recommended!

My hair looks, feels and smells great when I use this shampoo. The scent almost reminds me of a mildly scented men's cologne--kinda sexy if you ask me. My hair feels smoother and it just goes where I want it to. You do have to use a little more of this than other shampoos to get a good lather--that's the only thing I would change.

As the anti-residue name implies, this product is great for thoroughly cleaning other products out of your hair. This can be especially beneficial if you have very fine, short-cropped hair like I do. This Neutrogena shampoo will leave your hair clean, and therefore, very light and fluffy.

Because I have long, straight, thick hair that is dry, I generally use moisturizing and smoothing shampoos/conditioners which steal volume over time. Using Neutrogena's anti-residue shampoo once every two weeks removes all the build-up and actually serves to make my regular hair routine work better. Love the smell, too - very clean.

One of my favorite hair products for literally 20 years, I use this once a week and my hair really does seem to style better afterward.

I marked "does not lather well" because there really is no lather at all. I definitely would not consider this a drawback to the product, only a warning to those who really like their shampoos to have lots of lather.
