For natural cleaning products Method seems to outshine other products, espcially when it comes to dishwasher tabs. I have tried other brands that also boast being earth-friendly; well, they are also dirt-friendly...they don't do the job. Method's tabs are incredible! Try them-you won't be disappointed.

This product is great because I just use half a pill because I have a small dishwasher and it is hard to cut them in half but it out cleans the other dishwasher products out there.

I thought my dishwasher was on its last leg. In addition to the spotted glasses I was starting to see that my loads needed a second cleaning to get clean. I ordered Method's dishtabs because I was on my last finish tab and I knew I would get them [...] from Soap.com. To my surprise, my glasses and dishes came out perfect - no spots or food and the the dishwasher smelled fresh and clean. I wish they weren't so expensive but considering that I won't have to go shopping for a dishwasher any time soon I'm thrilled.

Tablet was too big to fit in my double drawer dishwasher's soap dispenser. I tried breaking in half which allowed it to fit but it didn't dissolve.

The Go Naked line from Method is great but these are particularly fabulous. After trying all of the "natural" dishwasher detergents, I was beginning to get disillusioned that I'd have to suffer with awful smells or poor performance till I found these ovals.
With them, I have had no problems with etching or residue. The only time I see remnants of the detergent are when water puddles inside a glass (bottomside of coffee cups, for instance). Otherwise, the glasses, dishes and plastics are well cleaned (I don't put any stovetop cookware in the dishwasher) and there are no perfumes.

I cannot say enough good things about this dish tablet. It's easy to use, you just pop the tablet into the dishwasher, no scary chemical odor, and it does a great job cleaning my pots and dishes. Everything comes out sparkling (I think it cleans better than the other dishwasher tabs and powders I've purchased in the past). It's safe and more natural so I feel better about dishwashing my toddler's stuff. I don't appreciate how expensive it is though. But all the pros outweigh the cons and I am thrilled Soap.com has started carrying this product. Now I don't have to order it elsewhere in bulk [...] since I get everything else from Soap and [...]

Great dish tabs-clean and easy to use, no boxes of messy powder under my sink. Best of all, works great and has no annoying artificial smell. I avoid artificial scents in all of my cleaning products and this product not only works great but doesn't have any smell when used. Why use harsh chemicals and fake scents on dishes you will be using for food-thanks Method for thinking of unscented dishwashing detergent!!!!

I've been using this dish detergent for months now. It's the only one that doesn't smell to chemicals when you open your dishwasher and the strong hot steam gets out straight to my nose. If you have children and / or pets, you will want to at least give it a try. The quality is great, also!

One may think it's so natural it won't do the job, but I was surprised to see that even though I don't rinse the tomato sauce --or anything really-- from my dishes, this product took care of it. I LOVE the results so much it's been my only choice when it comes to buying this category since the first time I used it.

I had so much hope for the Method Smarty Detergent for my dishwasher. I did a lot of research and read so many reviews. I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews about residue and damage to dishes, but I was blinded by the positive reviews and was really hoping to find a safer alternative to the mainstream detergent that I've been using for years. This detergent scratched my glasses. It's as if it permanently etched marks into them. It looks like it would just rinse off, but it doesn't. My All-Clad dishwasher-safe stainless steel pots were also ruined. They came out of the washer with what looks like a white film all over them. This also will not rinse off. My glassware and stainless cookware is absolutely ruined. I tried using three different rinse aids to see if that would make a difference (environmentally safe and mainstream) and I got the same results each time. This detergent worked well on my plasticware- which was my big concern. I really wanted something that wouldn't leave a chlorine smell and taste on my son's sippy cups and dishes. This seemed to be much better than the mainstream detergents. However, after seeing what it did to my other dishes, I don't know what it's actually leaving inside the cups.So alas, this was a failed experiment. Back to the drawing board... Bottom line: a product with potential, but just doesn't clean all types of dishes well and has the ability to actually damage them. Why risk it?

Gets dishes (even some-what caked-on) clean enough to eat off! No harsh and nasty chemicle agents here...just clean dishes. And so easy to use. Just make sure your dishes are not in the way of the path that the tab needs to drop to the bottom of the dishwasher.

I just have to comment that this is the best dishwasher soap! I got tired of smelling the toxic "scents" of the average store-brand. Having always been focused on buying the cheapest household items, I made a change this year. Method dishwashing soap is one of the finds I want to recommend to others looking to reduce the toxins in their environment. It works great and is definitely worth the extra cost.
