This will help break the abusive cycle of washing your hair everyday. As someone with looong curly hair that prefers to style it straight, this is a life saver (as in, my time and the condition of my hair).

Most days I do not need to re-straighten. I wash and blow-dry once a week, and use a flatiron in the mornings (as needed to remove pillow-flat spots or re-curls around the face) after the klorane dry shampoo. This also somehow protects against the rampant humidity in the summer that threatens to re-curl newly washed and straightened hair. The aerosol is easier to use, but the powder does the job (and lasts longer) with practice.

I love the Klorane dry shampoo series, but recently I've switched to the non-aerosol kind. They all add a lot of body to my hair, which is fine and blonde, so sometimes I use it even after I wash my hair. Some people have problems with it because it's a whitish powder (my boyfriend makes fun of me for using it, but not after it's blended!), and if you have brown hair, it might not blend in completely. I have been using this for 5 years (it was available in Europe then) and it is just really useful for people who don't like to wash their hair every day.

i thought i'd pamper myself a little for those days i don't make it in the shower (i have four kids) but i definitely wouldn't buy this again. it's awkward to shake out and you have to use a lot for it to be somewhat effective. a nice scent, but i'd rather stick to baby powder or cornstarch--a much cheaper and effective alternative!
