I use a little when my hair is damp. I keeps curls for a couple of days and then reapply. Yes, even having been slept on. It's light weight not sticky. Love the stuff.

I've only used this product once, so far - but I've used plenty of gel and curly hair products and one use is enough for me to gauge this comparatively. BTW - my curl pattern and hair pretty much looks identical to this, and naturally so:[@]So basically - there's nothing wrong with the product. But there's nothing spectacular about it, either. While ordering this product I also ordered the Eco Gel - Olive Oil product here on Soap.com (which was less than $3). The Eco Gel is actually fantastic and in my opinion gave even better quality at a much better price point.I don't really know why people are raving about this product as if there are not other comparable or even better products on the market, and more competitively priced. I reaaaaally don't. If I end up having some startling insight around this product later (since I paid [$] for it, after all, and will continue to use it and see), I am more than willing to update or modify this review later. But for now, I really have no idea of why everyone's acting like it's the best product in the world. It's not bad but it's definitely not a knock-out. It won't give or help you maintain any 'new' curl pattern you can't also get with other non-alcohol based products, and the Eco Gel-Olive Oil product here on Soap.com really has been wonderful. Personally, for me and my hair type, I feel the Eco Gel-Olive Oil product is the best I've EVER used to date and I will absolutely be getting that again. I would encourage anyone to try it and see for yourself.(And no, I'm not paid to say that.)

I have been using this product for about 4 months in order to wear my hair natural and not use so much heat. It works perfectly, great curls and they hold sooo long. As someone else mentioned, a little goes a long way. I buy two jars at a time just to make sure I don't run low :)

This is a product that can be used on its own, and leaves your hair with no frizz, soft, and smells great.

While the product seems pricey, a little goes a long way. I recommend dipping your fingers into it and combing it through sections of wet hair, rather than adding palmfuls. Scrunch your hair to shape the curl. You can let it air dry or use a diffuser to speed things up. This product dries slightly 'crunchy' but that will go away if you add a small amount of glosser or oil sheen.
