My husband and I have been using this product for the last 2 years. We're both sensitive to fragrance and have lots of straight fine hair. Unless I take a ridiculously long, hot shower with lots of direct water on my hair I have had no issue with drying out of hair or tangling. Otherwise, we don't get build up, our hair feels clean and has the appropriate amount of oils in it. I haven't noticed a lather issue that another reviewer mentioned. I'm completely satisfied with this product and my hairdressers are always telling me how healthy my hair is.

the good:

this shampoo cleanses well and leaves my hair feeling strong. also, it helps my hair keep its form--quite the opposite effect of using conditioner because i have very fine hair that is impossible to keep in one place when it is conditioned.

the bad:

it lathers terribly--it feels like an extremely viscous gel that just disappears into my hair rather than foaming and lathering it up. as a result, i must use quite a bit more of it than a typical shampoo to cover the same amount of hair.

it also leaves my hair feeling rather dry. fortunately, this is easily remedied with a drop of jojoba oil after drying my hair. but it would be nice if this wasn't necessary.
