Comments about Barlean's Olive Leaf Complex (Liquid), Peppermint, 16 oz:

This was recommended to me in January 2011 by a friend who happens to be an RN for its anti-viral properties. I have a compromised immune system, and the antibiotics prescribed for an upper respiratory infection were not helping at all. Perhaps "the crud" was running its course, but I continued to take it even after I felt better. A strange benefit - the woman who cuts my hair, who I hadn't seen in months commented that I must be doing something different. In the ten+ years she has cut my hair she said she had never seen & felt it so healthy.

I don't know why they "flavor" it with peppermint. I love peppermint, and I have never noticed a peppermint flavor. I know that olive leaf complex is sold in pills and capsules, but the Barlean's is obviously doing something positive for me. It does however, taste disgusting.

Comments about Barlean's Olive Leaf Complex (Liquid), Peppermint, 16 oz:

My husband and 6 year old son were sick with the stomach flu. They hadn't been taking the Olive Leaf Extract regularly. My 7 year old and I had been. We felt bad, but we never actually got sick from the flu. I thought for sure I would get sick. So, my 7 year old and I started taking more of the Olive Leaf Extract. Fortunately, we just felt bad for a day and was fine. I contribute it to the extract. Some say the taste is nice; I say it is not. But, usually if something is good for you, it doesn't taste good. It's only 1 tablespoon so no big deal.
